What is the MKCHS Annual Fund?
As a Catholic School, we rely on generous support from parents, alumni, and friends of MKCHS to help make up the difference between tuition revenues and the full cost of providing a superior education to our students. The Annual Fund is a yearly campaign to raise financial support for a wide range of programs and initiatives that continue to provide our students with a solid educational foundation to succeed in high school and beyond.
Why Does Annual Giving Matter?
When you support the MKCHS Annual Fund Campaign, your gift goes to work immediately to strengthen and support the operating budget, mission, and commitment to providing families with an affordable Catholic education. When you think about making a gift, please consider a gift amount that is personally meaningful to you. The only gift too small is no gift at all.

Gerri Giglio Talbot, Current Grandparent
We are blessed to have Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School in Beaumont. It affords the students in our area the opportunity to receive an exemplary education. However, to continue the legacy, we must assist. Fundraisers, like the Annual Fund Campaign, facilitate in providing the extras that enhance the education and overall high school experience.
Grandparents are a vital part of the Kelly community and regularly demonstrate their commitment to their families and grandchildren through contributions to the Annual Fund. I have made a contribution to the Annual Fund in honor of my grandchildren and ask that you consider doing the same.
You can make an investment in your grandchild’s future with your Annual Fund donation. Gifts to the Annual Fund Campaign have an immediate influence on today’s students. No contribution is too small. Please help make MKCHS the best it can be in developing the minds and character of our future leaders.
Dawn and Gene Isabell, Current Parents
As parents of 11th grader, Trey (2021), 10th grader, Ava (2022), and future Bulldogs, 8th grader, Austin (2024), and 4th grader, Brooklyn (2028), we are excited to support the 2019-2020 MKCHS Annual Fund. Kelly High School has been an exceptional experience for our family. The excellent teachers and coaches have helped mold our children with firm Christian values, all the while challenging them academically and athletically to be their best. The small class sizes and mutual respect between faculty and students lead to a positive learning environment that helps our children reach their goals.
MKCHS has proven to produce strong, confident, capable, and faithful leaders ready to face our complex society. We have enjoyed watching Trey and Ava grow and thrive at MKCHS and look forward to having Austin join them in the fall.
By supporting the Annual Fund, your gift goes to work immediately to strengthen and support the school’s operating budget, mission, and commitment to providing families with an affordable Catholic education. Each donation helps fund all aspects of school life, including classroom equipment, fine arts supplies, athletic equipment, maintaining our school’s grounds and facilities, and providing the security necessary to ensure the safety of our children.
Mike and Christy Persia, Past Parents
As a parent of four adult graduates of MKCHS, it is an honor, but more so, a duty to represent this institution in its Annual Fund Campaign. MKCHS has been a beacon of light in our community for more than 100 years. Superior teachers, coaches, and faculty have provided the backdrop for maintaining a level of academic excellence that is competitive throughout the country. Promoting a culture of Christian values aimed at developing our students morally, socially, and spiritually is what sets our future leaders apart.
High school is arguably the most formative years of our children’s lives. All four of my children graduated from Kelly and were more than prepared for the turbulent roads that lied ahead because of it. The core values that were instilled during that time have allowed them to become the responsible individuals they are today. They are caring siblings, loving parents, and loyal friends. They realize the impact that MKCHS has had on their lives, and they honor the commitment to stay involved and give back.
One word rings true when we think of Kelly High School, and that is FAMILY. We often reminisce on the multitude of families that banded together in support of our collective children’s pursuits, and we give thanks for the lasting friendships that this school has allowed us to make. Our greatest strength is our community, and through good times and bad, the MKCHS Family has always rallied around each other and provided support.
With excellence, there always comes a price; academically, athletically, spiritually, or otherwise. If you have had a similar experience as our family or simply believe in the mission of MKCHS, then we encourage you to pay it forward through a donation to the Annual Fund. It is here, with your involvement, that we can fine-tune the priceless pursuit of all of our children’s futures.
Ashley and Greg Messina, Alumni
MKCHS is a very special place. It is a place where students receive a superior academic and spiritual education, where the teachers and staff members are not only educators but also mentors and where parents, friends, family, and community leaders gather together to celebrate the Bulldog spirit.
MKCHS is home for our family! Greg and I graduated together in 1998. Our oldest daughter, Georgia, will be an incoming freshman next fall with the Class of 2024, Livie will be the Class of 2027 and Maceo, Class of 2032.
The education that Greg and I received at MKCHS was based on a foundation of faith, service, and community, which provided us the opportunity to achieve success in our future academic endeavors and careers. We are so beautifully taught in Ephesians 2:10 that “We are God’s Masterpiece created in Jesus Christ to do good works which God has prepared in advance for us to do.” As Alumni, it is our responsibility to give back to the school that gave so much to us and invest in our youth, the leaders of tomorrow.
My father, Joe Tortorice, Jr., Class of 1966, always said: “You can get everything you want out of life if you help enough other people get what they want.” Please join Greg and me in supporting the MKCHS Annual Fund so that future generations will have access to affordable Catholic education and receive the same Kelly experience that we were so fortunate to have.
