Red Ribbon Week will be held Tuesday, October 29th- Thursday, October 31st. The Peer Counselors will focus on the widespread vaping epidemic throughout the week to bring awareness to our students. We would love your support as we celebrate the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation! Dress up days are noted on the flyer.
Thanks to all of the parents who attended Report Card Night and 7th Annual Parent Awareness Symposium. We were thrilled to have a local physician, attorney, and college professional here to talk briefly and answer your questions about raising teenagers. The feedback from parents who attended was positive and each student received a free tardy/demerit pass if their parent attended! We especially enjoyed the lively discussion about the 10 Commandments for Parents!
College Rep Visits have been rescheduled and students may sign up for those in Naviance. The first big deadline for college apps is November 1st so seniors, contact your counselor if you need assistance! The deadline for sophomores to apply for HOBY is Friday; contact Mrs. Wulf for more information. The ASVAB information day has been moved to November 13th and the make-up date for the Career Expo is February 6th.
Continue to watch our counseling Calendar of Events which can be found on the Academics Tab of the website under the Counseling drop-down menu and check out all the resources in our College Prep Handbook. We update scholarships, college information, and post many more helpful articles daily! Please reach out for questions during the year via email or school telephone. We are eager to provide valuable counseling services to all of our students, parents, and staff!
