Thank you for all the love and support you showed to us during National School Counseling Week this month. We enjoy working with all parents and students, especially at our grade level meetings and individual conferences this spring!
Mark your calendars now for our Freshman Class Meeting on Tuesday, March 3rd from 6-7 p.m. in the Café. We will distribute test results and transcripts with updated GPAs. Individual course scheduling conferences for 2020-2021 will take place with the counselors the weeks following the class meeting. Parents are always encouraged to attend these conferences.
Juniors and Seniors – We will have a mandatory meeting with the Lamar Dual Credit Coordinator on Wednesday, April 15th from 5:30 – 6 p.m. in the Café. You and a parent/guardian must attend to enroll in these courses.
ALL students, parents, and staff are encouraged to stop by the Houston Area Recruiters Network College Fair next month. This is an opportune time to build relationships with recruiters, show “demonstrated interest” in colleges, practice communication skills, and gather more information about college options!
We encourage our senior students and parents to continue to read through the College Prep Handbook timelines to make sure you are taking care of everything for each month getting ready for graduation. All Balfour items were delivered last week so if you’ve not ordered yours, contact them ASAP! More information to come regarding graduation events via Theology classes in April.
Our current scholarship total is $2,615,878! We’ve posted and emailed many applications out so let us know if you need help applying. That number should go up by May 16th!
