Dear Parents, Students, and Friends of Kelly,
As we approach the end of the 2019-2020 school year, the current “stay-at-home” situation probably dominates everyone’s memory of this year. However, there are so many other things to remember about which to be joyful. Consider all the friends, new and old, you were able to spend time with, all the various school activities that took place before the CORONA situation unfolded, and all the fun memories that were made. For these, we should be thankful.
Much of this newsletter is devoted to the seniors and the various accomplishments and accolades they have earned. They truly are a remarkable class. I’m especially sorry for them, the way their year has ended. Hopefully, they will be able to look back some day with pleasant memories of their ‘forced time at home’. Please join with me in praying for our seniors as they graduate and move on to whatever path their life may take. It is my sincere hope that each of them will leave Kelly having learned that they are special and unique persons to whom God has given many blessings and gifts.
As you may know, I will be retiring from Kelly High School and Catholic Education this summer after 23 years. I can honestly say it has been a true blessing in my life and an extremely fulfilling vocation. I count the many staff members, students, and families with whom I’ve worked as a wonderful gift. I feel truly honored to have experienced each of them and you. I hope and pray that I, in some small way, have helped build God’s kingdom here on earth in each of you. Please pray for me and know I will be praying for each of you.

Reminder – We still have about 90 students/families that have not completed the FACTS grant and aid application. This information is needed to confirm family income and assign a tuition category. Students/families who do not complete this process are automatically assigned to category 8.
ALSO, even if you are in category 8, and even if you pay tuition in one payment, we still need an account set up in FACTS, as this is our vehicle to invoice for tuition and fees. In this case, banking information is not required. If you need assistance please contact the Business Office at Kelly at ext. #148.
