Dear Parents, Students, and Friends of Kelly,
Happy New Year! And Happy ‘Ending to the Christmas Season’! In the Catholic tradition, Christmas actually lasts through the celebration of the baptism of the Lord which was this past Sunday. Of Jesus’ baptism, we hear of John who proclaims Him the Christ and the Savior of the world – even though he witnesses no miracle or action of Jesus. May we each recognize Jesus as the Christ like John, and allow him to be more present in our lives.
We now have a new on-line application and registration process. All returning students/families will be sent a link which will open to forms containing their current individual information. Please review the contents for accuracy then re-submit. This process will be discussed during grade level meetings in January and February. Students applying to Kelly, both incoming freshman and transfer students, will also be provided an on-line application link for admission consideration.
You may have already heard that we are losing Mr. Krause. He met with me just before the Christmas break and informed me that he will need to be relieved of his Assistant Principal position. He will continue as Campus Minister, part- time, for the rest of this school year. We are in the process of searching for a replacement. Mr. Krause will continue in both roles, working full-time, until the position is filled.
