Dear Parents, Students, and Friends of Kelly,
The re-registration process for next year has begun. You should have already received the e-mail with instructions for the re-enrollment process. This process entails clicking on the link provided, verifying all the information currently in our database, and submitting this update. Once that has been completed, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with instructions to set-up your FACTS tuition payment account (if necessary). If you have not received or have lost the e-mail and link, please contact Kathy Valdez at ext. #110.
National Catholic Schools Week is January 27-31. We will have various activities at Kelly High School to celebrate the wonderful ministry of Catholic education. On Wednesday, January 29, seniors will represent us at the Bishop’s Rainbow Mass, in which he celebrates the wonderful diversity of our Catholic school community. The Mass will be held in St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica. Seniors will be dismissed from class at 9:20 a.m. and allowed to transport themselves to St. Anthony. After Mass, seniors may obtain lunch on their own, but will be expected to return to Kelly by 1:55 p.m. for 4th block.
Baseball and Softball begin playing games next week. Check the school calendar and come on out for a ‘ballgame’!
The High School Placement Test for incoming 9th graders will be on Saturday, February 1. If you know an 8th grader who is considering Kelly High School, please inform them of the test and have them contact our Admissions Director, Kiersten Lamb Lochridge, if they have not done so already.
The Spring Prospective Parent Open House is scheduled for Thursday, February 6, at 6:00 p.m.
TWIRP Week will be February 10-15. Student Council is organizing a number of activities to celebrate the week which will end with a dance on Saturday, February 15, in the Randy Roane Theatre from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. Permission slips for “out of school” dates are now available in the Principal’s office.
The Voice of Kelly High School will hold a Valentine concert on Tuesday, February 11, at 6:30 p.m. in the Randy Roane Theatre.
Monday, February 17, is Presidents’ Day, and a student holiday!
My hope and prayer is that this New Year will be filled with joy and blessings for you and your family.
