Dear Parents, Students, and Friends of Kelly,
We are entering the season of Lent. During Lent, the Church asks us to examine our lives so that we might better live the life God intends: a life of charity, service, and prayer. During this Lenten season, may we each prepare ourselves to live better in God’s service so that we fully celebrate the miracle of the resurrection at Easter.
Monday, March 2, Mu Alpha Theta, the Mathematics Honor Society, will induct its new members for the 2019-2020 school year. The induction ceremony will be at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.
Daylight Savings Time begins on Sunday, March 8. Don’t forget to ‘Spring Forward’!
The 3rd grading quarter ends on Friday, March 13. Be sure to check the Portal for your child’s grades.
Spring Break is March 16-20. If you are traveling, I pray for a safe trip for you and your family.

More than 40 students will be traveling to Waco March 30 – April 1 to compete in the TAPPS Art, Academic, & Speech competition. Good luck to all our students.
Mark your calendar for Friday, April 3. The Kelly Dance Force will hold its annual Spring Show in the Jefferson Theater at 6:30 p.m.
Just a reminder about the re-enrollment process for next year:
- You should have already received an e-mail with a link to your enrollment information. Open that link, revise any information necessary, and then submit. If you’ve lost or need this e-mail resent, please contact the Counseling Office at ext. 110.
- Submit your requested financial information for 2019 to FACTS. This information will be used to assign tuition categories which is the primary tuition assistance offered by Kelly High School. Once your tuition category has been confirmed, a confirmation will be sent to you and the 2020-2021 tuition will begin being drawn in July 2020.
- Later this spring, instructions will be sent for those wishing to be considered for additional tuition assistance.
