Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School has announced their school board members for the 2018-2019 school year. Mandy Oliverio will serve as School Board Chair. New members include Casey Crenshaw and Scott Renick. Returning members are Father Rodell Faller, Vice Chairperson Lee Ann Fuselier, Theresa Herink, Gillian Jenkins, Camille Mouton, past chair Mark Phelan, Jeremy Saba, Jackie Simien and Patrick Swain. Ex-Officio members include Donald Jowers as the Foundation President, Hillary Shanning as Home and School Board President and Bernie Daleo as Booster Club President.
Casey Crenshaw is a ’93 Kelly graduate who has a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University. He is president of The Modern Group of Companies, where he has worked for 21 years. Casey and his wife, Stacey Becks Crenshaw, have four children. Their oldest daughter is a Kelly freshman and their younger children attend All Saints Episcopal School and St. Anne Catholic School.
Lee Ann Nicholson Fuselier
Lee Ann Nicholson Fuselier, chair of the Building and Grounds Committee, has a BS in Political Science from Louisiana State University – Baton Rouge. She is the Administrative Manager at Alliance Engineers and Project Consultants. Lee Ann is married to Rob Fuselier. Their son is a Kelly junior and their daughters, who graduated from Kelly in 2016 and 2018, are attending Rice University and LSU.
Theresa Kunze Herink
Theresa Kunze Herink, chair of the Academic Committee, received her nursing degree from Grand View College in Des Moines, Iowa. She is the Assistant Sacrestin at St. Anne Catholic Church, a member of the St. Anne Parish Council and Saint Katharine Drexel Health Fair Medical Co-coordinator. Theresa and Joe Herink are the parents of five children, including three Kelly graduates. Their oldest graduated from Notre Dame this year, they have a senior at Texas A+M and a junior at the University of Texas. Future Kelly Bulldogs include two seventh graders at St. Anne Catholic School.
Gillian Maness Jenkins
Gillian Maness Jenkins, chair of the Spiritual Committee, is a ‘95 graduate of Kelly and is married to a ’94 Kelly graduate, Will Jenkins. She has a BS in Corporate Communication from the University of Texas. She is an avid volunteer in our community and is currently on the boards of the Civil Services Commission of Beaumont and the Neches River Festival. Gillian served on the MKCHS Alumni Board from 2008-2014 and joined the school board in 2014. She and Will are the proud parents of a Kelly freshman and three future Bulldogs who are students at St. Anne Catholic School.
Camille Mouton, chair of the Advancement Committee, has a degree in Business Education from the University of Louisiana – Lafayette. She served as Kelly’s Director of Development from 1986-1997 before moving on to Lamar University for 17 years where she served as Vice President of University Advancement. Camille is retired and serves on the board of the Symphony of Southeast Texas and the Art Museum of Southeast Texas. Her four daughters graduated from Kelly between 1983 and 1989.
Mandy Quigley Oliverio
Mandy Quigley Oliverio is the current Chair of the MKCHS Board. She is a ’90 Kelly graduate who has a BS in Elementary Education from Vanderbilt University. Mandy is a former teacher and serves on the Symphony League of Beaumont and Buckner Auxiliary boards. She and her husband, Jeff, have two children and are involved in their parish church, St. Anne. Their daughter is a Kelly sophomore and their son, a 2018 Kelly graduate, is a freshman engineering major at the University of Texas.
Mark Phelan, immediate past Board Chair, graduated from Kelly in 2005 and has a BA in History and a Business Certificate from the University of Colorado – Boulder. He is a commercial real estate developer with Phelan Investments. Mark is married to ’05 Kelly alumna Jennifer Carona Phelan and they are the parents of two future Kelly students. Mark is past president of the Beaumont Heritage Society and has served on Kelly’s Alumni board. Mark, his six siblings, and his dad are all Kelly graduates.
Scott Renick is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a Wheaton College graduate and earned his J.D. from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. He is the founder of the Renick Law Firm. Scott has served on the board of the Beaumont Community Players and was the President of the Board of Directors of the Garth House. He is married to Amy Renick and they have two daughters, a sophomore at Kelly and a sixth grader at All Saints.
Father Rodel Faller
Father Rodel Faller has a degree in Sacred Theology from the University of Santo Thomas, Philippines. He was ordained on January 5, 2008. He was the Associate Pastor of St. Pius for six months before serving as Associate Pastor of St. Anne for six years between 2008-2014. He is the current pastor of St. Catherine of Siena Parish and School.
Jeremy B. Saba
Jeremy B. Saba, chair of the Extracurricular and Sports Committee, received a BA in Journalism from the University of Texas – Austin. He is a Senior Vice President – Wealth Management at UBS Financial Services. Jeremy is a past president of St. Anne’s School Board and is married to Nicole Ramey Saba, a ’94 Kelly graduate. Their son is a Kelly sophomore and their two younger children attend St. Anne’s. Jeremy’s mother-in-law, father-in-law and brother-in-law are all Kelly graduates.
Jacqueline M. Simien
Jacqueline M. Simien has a BA in Mass Communications from Louisiana State University – Baton Rouge. She is the Principal of J. Simien Media and a former anchor at KBMT-12 News and KFDM- Channel 6. Jackie is a former Kelly parent, has served as the John K. Mattingly Leadership Conference Facilitator and was a Kelly Commencement speaker. She is a member of Our Mother of Mercy parish and is active with the Press Club of Southeast Texas, Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, and the Golden Triangle Area Chapter of the Links, Inc.
Patrick Swain, chair of the Finance Committee, graduated from Kelly in 1981 and earned a BBA in Accounting from Lamar University. He has been the Jefferson County Auditor for 22 years. Patrick and his wife Donna have three children, including a daughter who graduated from Kelly in 2015. He is a member of Westgate Memorial Baptist Church.
