Welcome
Since its founding in 1895, Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School has been firmly committed to educating high school students in the Beaumont area to think beyond the walls of their classrooms and imagine the world of possibilities that await them. Our students possess the character and confidence to lead lives of purpose, and I consider it a tremendous privilege to be part of this journey.
From the first moment I was introduced to Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School, I was inspired by the love and dedication shown by the board, alumni, and friends of the School who are deeply committed to the students’ education and in the full development of their lives. I believe education has a transformative effect, no matter if it’s in the classroom, in the lab, on the field, or in the art studio. COVID-19 may have disrupted the educational process that has been trusted for the last 125 years, and we may have to take a digital approach temporarily, but nothing will interfere with providing our students with an exceptional educational experience. I am excited to be part of a learning community that embraces academic rigor exemplified in the curriculum. MKCHS is blessed to have an amazing faculty who create learning environments where our students thrive and succeed. This year, in particular, we will work together to explore our God-given strengths, learn from our failures, and develop the resiliency needed to prosper!
In preparing for the 2020-2021 school year, our teachers have been working diligently to prepare for the unknown challenges this year will hold. I must attest how proud I am to be working with such consummate professionals who are devoted to supporting our students and who want nothing more than to see each student succeed and reach their full potential. We all look forward to returning, full-time, to the MKCHS halls and experience the fervent energy and zeal for learning, supported by our solid foundation in the love and dependence upon Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior!
May God bless us and keep us safe and healthy!
Sincerely,
Dr. Teresa Shaffer
