At Kelly High School, we are proud to celebrate our alumni who embody the values of faith, service, and generosity. Today, we shine a spotlight on Katharine Maloney Tatum, a 1999 graduate of St. Anne’s and Kelly High School, who is making a profound impact on someone’s life.

Katharine and her husband, Trent Tatum ‘99, currently reside in Casper, Wyoming, with their two young children.

About a decade ago, Katharine signed up to be a bone marrow donor, a decision she had nearly forgotten. However, this past Christmas, she received a life changing call, she was a perfect match for a 25-year-old young man in Spain in desperate need of a transplant.

Now, her journey begins. This Monday, February 24th, Katharine and Trent will travel to Washington, D.C., where she will undergo the donation process, a selfless act that could save a life.

This incredible story reminds us of the power of service and the importance of answering the call to help others. At Kelly High School, we strive to instill a spirit of giving in our students so that as they go out into the world, they remain deeply connected to serving their communities and beyond.

We are incredibly proud of Katharine and her willingness to make a difference. Please join us in keeping Katharine, her family, and this young man in your prayers.
