Today marks the annual "Spring into Action" day for MKCHS, where students from Kelly High School come together to volunteer in their community, spanning Beaumont and surrounding cities. Engaging in local organizations, charities, and school grounds, students gain valuable lessons in the importance of community service and giving back to society.

We want to express our sincere appreciation to MKCHS parents Katie Bitar, Nicole Saba, Monica Broussard, Bonnie Tortorice, and all the parent and grandparent volunteers for their outstanding efforts in making this St. Joseph's Day celebration unforgettable. Your dedication, hard work, and enthusiasm have truly enhanced the experience for everyone involved. Thank you for your invaluable contributions and for exemplifying the spirit of community and generosity.

Congratulations to our exceptional students who were awarded their stoles during the honors breakfast, a testament to your relentless commitment to academic excellence. With immense pride, we applaud our Valedictorian Ben Steinman and Salutatorian Olivia Wu, anticipating the bright futures ahead for both of you.

Fifty MKCHS students, through our Key Club, joined forces with Rise Against Hunger on campus last Saturday. In just two and a half hours, they packed an impressive 15,000 meals! While the exact destination is pending confirmation, these meals are likely headed to the Philippines. The students took charge of every aspect, from fundraising to cleanup, showcasing their leadership and dedication. Each meal bag contains rice-soy fortified goodness, providing nourishment for six people. We pray these meals provide essential support where it's most needed. Thank you, Key Club, for making a difference!

🏌️⛳️ What a fantastic day on the golf course supporting Monsignor Kelly Catholic HS Boys and Girls Golf Teams! Huge thanks to everyone who came out for our annual fundraising scramble golf tournament. Congratulations to the 1st place team, led by Grace Dai, Min Dai, Scott Terry, and David Thompson, with an impressive score of 55! 🥇 And let’s not forget our 2nd place team, led by Anthony Toups, John Jeffrey, Mark Wilkerson, and Cody Bonvillion, with a stellar score of 57! 🥈 Special shoutout to David Montagne for his closest to the hole achievement and Jeff Williams for his impressive long drive! 🏌️‍♂️ A heartfelt thank you to all our sponsors and participants for making today possible. The MKCHS girls golf team had a strong performance of two freshmen, Erin Eaves and Grace Dai, at the recent Hardin Jefferson HS event held at Idylwild Golf Club in Sour Lake, Texas. In a field featuring 90 plus talented young female golfers, both Erin Eaves and Grace Dai displayed their prowess on the course by finishing tied for 5th place. Each of them posted a stellar score of 93. The Kelly Bulldogs girls’ next event is scheduled for February 13th at Brentwood Country Club in Beaumont! #GoDawgs #WeAreMKCHS

The halls of MKCHS were filled with reverence and devotion as students gathered for Eucharistic Adoration, a sacred time of prayer, meditation, and communion with Christ. Amidst the hustle and bustle of a busy day, hearts were opened and souls poured out to the Lord in a beautiful display of faith. Later, the entire school came together for an all-school Eucharistic Procession, weaving through campus with the Blessed Sacrament held high. Each class and teacher joined the solemn march, pausing at the corners of the main building to bless the school with Christ's presence. As the procession concluded in the gym, a Solemn Benediction marked the end of the day, leaving hearts uplifted and spirits renewed. Truly, how blessed are we to experience the love of Christ every day, and to celebrate His presence in our beloved school community.
